Hi, my name is Pete.
I am married with 2 children and a dog. We live in the UK and I am 44 years old
My journey with chronic illness started when I was 23 years old. I had glandular fever and during the illness, I felt a tiredness like nothing I had felt before. The sickness passed but unfortunately, the chronic fatigue stayed with me. Whenever I stayed up too late or didn’t rest enough, I paid the price. By the weekend I would be burnt out and have to nap. This continued through to April 2019 when I slipped a disc in my back and began the next stage of my chronic illness journey.
