Return to work

After being off work for 3 months with covid and long covid, I have finally returned to work.

Currently I am doing 4 hours a day and aiming to get back to the 8 hour days I was doing pre covid. I have to say though that this week has been really tough on the fatigue.

The weekly plan is to try and increase the hours by 1 hour a day but unfortunately that won’t be possible. Whilst it doesn’t sound like much of an increase, it is certainly felt.

It’s great to be integrated back into the work force but trying to explain to colleagues that I’ve been off with fatigue and other seemingly trivial symptoms is tiresome.

Luckily i am able to start work at 10 A.M so still manage to get the extra sleep that is needed but it is never enough.
